BUTCHERED

As you all probably know Zeke has always had a ton of hair which we have loved. I occasionally trim it up a little, though I have no idea what I'm doing. Well it has recently gotten a little out of control so the "responsible parent" that I am decided that it was time for a professional to work on it. What a disaster that turned out to be! As we were waiting for our turn at Cookie Cutters Z managed to fall off of a little chair and land on a coffee table, cutting his cheek. It was a little cut, but pretty wide and since he was blessed with such a beautiful face I decided to take him to the insta care. The Dr. decided that he needed 4 stitches which was pretty traumatic for the little guy. They had to wrap him up like a mummy and it took 3 nurses to hold him down. He cried the whole time the stitches were getting placed and at one point said "I'm just gonna close my eyes", the Dr. replied "That is a good idea Zeke!" Needless to say I tried for the haircut again the next day and asked the chick to keep the same style, just take a little bit off. She butchered him! He looks like he has a helmet on his head. Good thing that his hair grows fast!
After the clean up, but before the stitches
His blue stitches
check out the wack job
Another view of the terrible wack job. I am fully aware that the bandaid is not where it should be but he kept taking it off and putting it back on wherever he needed it at the moment.

I don't think it looks that bad! It might be the first time I've seen what he really looks like under that hair! JK :)

I took Isaac to Cookie Cutters a few times and wasn't happy with the results either. My friend that cuts my hair does his now!

hey melissa. i'm finally catching up on blogs!
congrats on the new baby.
the bead board looks awesome!!
i totally sympathize with the bad hair cut, i gave a real doozy to my son a few weeks ago. i think it's grown back enough to have a pro fix it.
