Who needs 911

Being a PA Joe is quite often getting calls from friends and family for medical advice or needed prescriptions which he doesn't mind at all but a couple of weeks ago a little excitement was added to that! Our adorable little neighbor was hit in the head with a rock. Who do you think they came to for help? Yep you got it... Joe! He whipped out his first aid kit that had just what he needed and placed 9 stitches at our kitchen table.

I love this pic cuz all of the neighborhood kids (and some adults) were constantly in and out of the house trying to get a glimpse of the action!
If you think that is the last of the excitement you are wrong. Last weekend we were at our ward campout and who do you think cuts his thumb with an ax?! Joe! No worries, he just gave himself 4 stitches at the picnic table with a little help from one of our RN friends!
