When I was younger, I would skateboard for hours. I would watch hours of skateboarding videos. I lived, breathed, and bled skateboarding (literally at times!)
Now that I have kids, nothing lights up my heart more than hearing Zeke ask to go skateboarding, and see how much he enjoys it. So when we had the chance to go to the Panguitch sk8 park and play, I was stoked. I even thought I saw something that I have been missing in my life since I stopped skateboarding as much.... PURE ENJOYMENT.
Zeke and I were at a friends house the other day. My friend joked with Zeke that he could be an awesome football player, but he didn't really react, so I interjected that maybe he could become a sweet skateboarder. When he heard those words, he actually lit up and smiled in excitement. It is times like these that actually excite me to see what Zeke is interested in. I love seeing him get excited about anything.Classic Dirty skateboarding clothes.
The other day I decide to finish a quarter pipe that was in my garage. Zeke became interested and started helping me. So I told him that this is "his ramp", and again he lit up. So next time your at our house bring your board and we can skate in the basement! Hopefully, by then Zeke can show you how to drop in.That saw is actually one of his toys.
Finished product.
He falls just like his dad... very "graceful".
