June 6th was our 6th anniversary so we decided to spend it in Kauai! My best friend Mary was also getting married there so it was perfect timing for us to go. It was the best vacation ever! We were long overdue for a vacation, especially one without the kids. We left them with my parents, and they had a great time. I'm so grateful to have parents who have developed such wonderful relationships with my kids. My kids adore them and to be honest I didn't even worry about them because they are so comfortable there. Kauai was so much fun! Ron and Mary's wedding was amazingly beautiful. We loved being able to spend quality time with Ron/Mary and Brian/Natalie. We did lots of hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, shopping, laying on the beach, exploring, and just enjoying time with each other. It was so nice for Joe and I to be able to get away together! Kauai is such a beautiful island and hopefully we will be going back for years to come.

are you serious? now i really hate you! thats so much fun. maybe one day we'll make it to hawaii. hopefully while i still look decent in a bathing suit... yikes.
That is awesome Melissa! It looks like you guys have been really busy having fun. Where do you live now, and where is Joe working now? We just got through moving back to Logan, where Brett got a job, so obviously we're not in Vernal, but still have fam there. Sounds like you guys are doing great!
